5 Step Fertilization and Weed Control
Your lawn isn’t like everyone else’s, so why settle for a generic treatment? Our 5-step program is fully customized to your lawn’s unique needs. With expert application, you get reliable, consistent results—no guesswork.
Additionally, we use granular fertilizer to improve soil health throughout the season and separate it from our liquid weed control, allowing us to serve both non-organic and organic customers. Here’s our 5-step all-season lawn care program:
Step 1: Early Spring – Granular Crabgrass Control
Crabgrass and other annual weeds start germinating in early spring. This treatment includes a granular pre-emergent herbicide that stops them before they sprout, plus nutrients to help your lawn green up after winter.
Step 2: Late Spring – Targets Dandelions & Broadleaf Weeds
By late spring, weeds like dandelions, clover, and chickweed start taking over. We apply liquid weed control to get rid of them while feeding your lawn to keep it strong before the summer heat kicks in.
Step 3: Summer – Repairs Lawn During Summer Heat
Summer stress from heat, drought, and foot traffic can weaken your lawn. We use a slow-release fertilizer to keep your grass fed without burning it and check for any signs of disease or pests.
Step 4: Early Fall – Attacks Fall Broadleaf Weeds Including Thistles
As temperatures drop, weeds like thistles and ground ivy try to take over. This treatment targets broadleaf weeds and strengthens your lawn to recover from summer damage.
Step 5: Late Fall – Winterizer to Help Grass Recover from Dormancy
A winterizer fertilizer helps grass store nutrients so it bounces back quickly in spring. This final feeding promotes strong roots and a faster green-up when the snow melts.
